Music for Everyone
Edwards Academy was born out of a desire to provide students with well-rounded music education that is engaging, fulfilling and available in the comfort of their own home.
Edward CockertoN
Principal
Edward Cockerton is a music educator, music director, accompanist and performer. He is a graduate of Red Deer College with a diploma in Voice and Piano. Edward teaches music privately in the Greater Toronto Area.
In addition to teaching, he works as an accompanist for the National Ballet of Canada’s In Studio program. He is also a musician with St. John the Baptist, Norway Anglican Church and Knox College at the University of Toronto. In his spare time, he records famous Western and Eastern pop music for ballet classes.
"It is my goal as an educator to help students enjoy music as much as I do, and I strongly believe that the appreciation of music will help students grow in all areas of their lives."
